by BetUS.com
The New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings are two reeling NFC favorites facing challenges against conference foes in the NFL week 6 picks.
With both teams listed as early favorites, is it a good time to lay down a little coin on two of the conference's Super Bowl favorites or has each team been exposed early in the season?
Here are some football picks for key games heading into the sixth week of an already exhilarating NFL betting season:

- New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
With the Saints favored at -5 against a solid Bucs team, this seems like a trap game yet again for football betting fans.
Despite a 3-1 start the Bucs' fans likely won't be able to see this one on TV as a sellout isn't expected for the 1 p.m. Sunday game.
With the lack of fervor surrounding the solid-but-not-great Bucs, the Saints have what it takes to roll into town and score a big win over Tampa Bay.
Josh Freeman simply can't keep pace with Drew Brees in this one despite the Saints' running game woes.
BetUS Sportsbook NFL week 6 pick: Saints (-5).
- Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings
Two NFC favorites with hungry (bordering on angry) fanbases will collide in this key game at 4:15 pm Sunday.
The Vikings showed good fight against the Jets coming back and almost winning against perhaps the league's top team right now and they're the best bet for this one at home because of their superior running game and Randy Moss' deep threat. The Cowboys have put up big numbers on offense but can't finish drives; they won't do other against the best defense they've faced all year.

- Indianapolis Colts at Washington Redskins
The Colts haven't dominated on offense as usual but neither has Washington with Donovan McNabb.
McNabb and Peyton Manning are both great game managers, however. This 8:20 pm Sunday night game will come down to the running game and the Colts have an edge there even with injuries in the backfield. A little running gae means key plays for Manning in the red zone; it's all he needs against a veteran defense that is a half-step too slow to stop the Colts.
